Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

NChartPro (nchartpro.com and the NChartPro Android app) is a charting and analysis service for the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). It is run by Technivs, Kathmandu, Nepal. In this policy "we" means Technivs and "you" means the person using NChartPro.

2. Information you give us

• Account details: your name, the display name you choose, email address, phone number (if you give one), password and profile picture. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash (bcrypt); we cannot read them.
• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID (see section 4).
• What you create in the app: portfolio accounts, trades and notes, watch lists, alerts, chart drawings and layouts, scripts, paper-trading orders, predictions, community posts, chat messages, comments and feedback.
• AI chat: the messages you send to the AI assistant and its answers.
• Payments: the plan or credit you buy and the payment reference returned by eSewa. We never see or store your eSewa password or card details.
• Rewards and agents: if you claim a physical reward we store the delivery name, phone, address and the photos you upload. If you apply to be an agent we store the identity, PAN and bank details you submit for verification and payouts.
• If you use your own AI provider key, we store it encrypted and use it only for your requests.

3. Information we collect automatically

• Sign-in records: the time, IP address, device type, operating system, browser and a device identifier, for each sign-in. We use them to keep your account secure (one account in one place at a time) and to stop abuse.
• Usage: the pages you open, how long you stay, clicks, searches and the features you use. We use this to improve the app. Detailed records are deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.
• Security logs: IP addresses and request details of blocked or abusive traffic. System logs are deleted after 180 days.
• Phone app: a push notification token so we can send you the alerts you set. The app asks only for internet, notifications, vibration and permission to install its own updates. It does not use your camera, location or contacts.

4. Google user data

When you choose "Sign in with Google", Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID with us, and confirms that the email address is verified. We ask for nothing more (only the "openid", "email" and "profile" scopes). We do not get access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or any other Google data.

We use this information only to create your NChartPro account, to sign you in, and to show your name and picture in the app. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except as section 6 describes.

NChartPro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If an account with the same email address already exists and that email was never confirmed, signing in with Google joins the two and, for your safety, replaces that account's old password and signs out its other sessions.

5. How we use information

• To run your account and the features you use: charts, analysis, portfolio, alerts, community and AI chat.
• To send you the alerts you set — in the app, as a phone notification, and by email when you switch email on.
• To send you messages about your account, such as a password reset.
• To keep NChartPro secure: stopping shared accounts, scraping, fraud and abuse.
• To handle payments, subscriptions, rewards and agent commissions.
• To understand how NChartPro is used and to improve it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising.

6. Who we share information with

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

• Google — to sign you in with Google, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service) to deliver phone notifications.
• Our email provider — to deliver password-reset and alert emails to your address.
• AI providers (DeepSeek and OpenRouter, or the provider of your own key) — your AI chat messages are sent to them to get an answer. Our AI tools cannot read your account, portfolio or chat data on their own.
• eSewa — to process payments you make.
• Authorities — when the law of Nepal requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and of NChartPro.

Community posts, chat messages and your display name are visible to other members, as the feature intends.

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on nchartpro.com.

7. Cookies and browser storage

• "session" — keeps you signed in (up to 30 days).
• "nc_did" — a random device identifier used to protect your account.
• "nc_google_flow" — a short-lived cookie (10 minutes) that protects the Google sign-in step.
• Your browser's local storage keeps your settings, such as theme, panel sizes and chart drawings.

These are needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. How long we keep information

• Account information and what you create are kept while your account exists.
• Detailed usage records: 90 days. System logs: 180 days. Sign-in records are kept for account security.
• AI chat messages are kept to check and improve answer quality, even after you delete a chat from your list. You can ask us to delete them (section 9).
• Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.

9. Your choices and rights

• You can see and change your profile, and delete your profile picture, portfolio accounts, scripts, alerts and watch-list entries in the app.
• You can switch alert emails and phone notifications off in each alert's settings, and turn off notifications for the app in your phone's settings.
• You can ask us to delete your account and the personal information we hold, or for a copy of it. Write to technivs.np@gmail.com from the email address of your account. We will reply within 30 days.
• If you signed in with Google, you can also remove NChartPro's access in your Google Account at myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps.

10. Security

NChartPro is served only over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, your own AI keys are encrypted, and staff access to the admin panel is separate from the member site. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

11. Children

NChartPro is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Where information is stored

Our servers are run by Technivs. Some services listed in section 6 (such as Google, Firebase and AI providers) may process information outside Nepal.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or on the What's New page.
